AI assistant & providers

Connect your own AI provider and let a screen-aware assistant operate AppSqeez for you, including the local MCP server.

AppSqeez uses AI providers you configure in Settings → AI. Premium unlocks the in-app assistant and AI tools; there are no AppSqeez credit packs or per-action credit charges. Your provider may bill you separately for its API usage.

Supported providers

All optional — use whichever you like, including fully local options:

  • OpenAI
  • Anthropic (Claude)
  • Google Gemini
  • OpenRouter
  • Ollama (local)
  • LM Studio (local)
  • OpenAI-compatible local servers (e.g. Codex App Server)

Vision capability is detected automatically per model, so the assistant can “see” rendered screenshots.

Screen-aware chat

On the Keywords, Store Listing, and Screenshots screens, the assistant gets live context (your app data, visible rows, current drafts, the active canvas) and a set of tools. Ask it to:

  • Change country, search, filter, sort, add, refresh, or translate keywords.
  • Switch listing versions, edit fields, optimize keywords, rewrite descriptions, run compliance reviews, and translate.
  • Create and configure screenshot sets, render previews, inspect them with a vision-capable model, and place zoom callouts.

Every action is proposed before it runs, so you stay in control.

Local MCP server

AppSqeez can expose your data to external AI coding assistants (like Claude Desktop or Cursor) over the Model Context Protocol. Tools include listing your apps and reading keywords, ratings, and suggestions — so your AI assistant becomes an ASO expert with zero context switching.

The MCP server is a Premium feature and stops automatically if Premium is lost.

Translation providers

For localization, you can choose between DeepL, LangBly, or your AI provider.
